The Administrative Medical Assistant program is a 6 month course designed to prepare students for entry-level employment in a medical front office, hospital office setting, or medical insurance company. Students receive individualized classroom instruction and on the job training during a 4 week internship. 

Typical job titles for Administrative Medical Assistants entering the field would be:

• Medical Secretary
• Medical Insurance Biller
• Medical Receptionist

The content of the program provides the student with specialized training in industry-current medical administrative procedures.  Instruction in medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, processing insurance forms, scheduling appointments, collections, medical bookkeeping and other critical patient services will be emphasized.
