| This course prepares the student for challenging positions in the expanding field of Information Systems Technology. In the course of 9 months this program covers all aspects of the IST field. Students will receive a strong background in electronics including service and repair. This creates a strong foundation for the computer portion of this course which includes computer hardware and software, computer networking, computer repair, and even web authoring. In addition, the student will be introduced to the exciting field of fiber optics in hands on labs. This course will provide the student with knowledge and skills acquired from intensive classroom study and hands-on labs needed in the competitive IT market.
This course may lead to certifications with the ETA and FOA. |
