This course will provide students with a solid foundation in telecommunications. The students will be prepared for an entry-level position in such occupations as:
Telephone Repairer, Telephone Equipment Installer, Station Installer Repairer, and as a Fiber Optics and Cabling Installation Technician.
Training will include classroom studies, extensive hands on, and an emphasis on the upgrading of cabling to meet cable TV, Data, Networking and Internet requirements. Included in the course is preparation and testing for industry certifications as a Fiber Optics and Cabling installer.
Successful completion of this course will lead to credit
towards our Information Systems and Communications
Technology AAT Degree program.
